Early Voting for the November 2026 General and Special Election Begins Monday, October 19, 2026
Jueves, 15 de Octubre del 2026

El Paso, Texas – The El Paso County Elections Department reminds voters that Early Voting for the November 2026 General and Special Election begins Monday, October 19, 2026 and continues through Friday, October 30, 2026, including Saturday and Sunday. Voters can choose a time that best fits their schedule and may avoid the longer lines often seen on Election Day.

To be election ready, voters are encouraged to visit the El Paso County Elections Department website, www.epcountyvotestx.gov, where they will find all the tools and information they need before heading to the polls, including:

My Voter Dashboard – Voters can check their voter registration status, eligibility and voting history, as well as view, mark and print their personalized sample ballot to bring with them to the polls. To access the dashboard, voters must enter their first name, last name and date of birth or their Voter Unique Identifier (VUID), which is located on their voter registration certificate.

Early Voting Locations – Voters can vote at any of the 39 Early Voting Locations throughout El Paso County. Voters can view voting locations, hours of operation and real time wait times. A map search tool and zip code lookup are also available to help voters find the nearest voting location.

Identification Required for Voting – When voting in person, voters can cast a regular ballot by presenting one of the seven acceptable forms of photo identification. Voters who do not have or cannot reasonably obtain an acceptable form of photo identification can complete a Reasonable Impediment Declaration at the voting location and present a supporting document.

Civilian Ballot by Mail – Voters who requested a ballot by mail but later decide to vote in person must surrender their own mailed ballot at the voting location. If the ballot is not surrendered, the voter will be issued a provisional ballot.

Voters with questions can contact the El Paso County Elections Department at (915) 273-3597 or at epelections@epcountytx.gov.
